<li>Build modern cloud-first systems using AWS services such as CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB</li><li>Improve and upgrade legacy software by designing scalable microservices and implementing a serverless-first approach</li><li>Contribute to DevOps culture and practices including CI/CD, IaC, and cross-functional delivery</li><li>Support AI-based initiatives, including internal productivity tools and chatbots that help scale engineering excellence</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and help embed good engineering practices, clean code, and technical standards across the team</li>

<li>Strong experience with AWS serverless components including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CDK</li><li>Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with <a rel="noopener noreferrer" class="postings-link" href="http://Node.js">Node.js</a> and frontend frameworks like React</li><li>Experience building and deploying applications using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. CDK, Serverless Framework, Terraform)</li><li>Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud-native development patterns</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment and provide technical mentorship to less experienced engineers</li>

<li>Experience developing systems for authentication/authorisation</li><li>Exposure to AI developer tools such as Amazon QDev, Claude, Cursor, or similar</li><li>Background in breaking down monoliths and refactoring for scalable cloud deployments</li><li>Experience working across multiple AWS accounts or with distributed global teams</li><li>Previous experience in wholesale, logistics or manufacturing environments</li>
